Sibshops is a support program for boys and girls 3rd—12th grades who have a brother or sister with a disability.  Sibshops give kids an opportunity to meet with peers to discuss their joys and concerns of having a brother or sister with a disability. Sibs participate in games and team building activities, crafts, food, and Letters to "Aunt Blabby" (a time to brainstorm solutions for common concerns).

Sibshops are Fun!

Cabarrus Sibshops meets in Concord from 10:00-2:00 the 4th Saturday of each month during the school year.  Children must be registered before attending their first meeting.  To register, please call 980-522-8740 or email

The Sibling Support Project is a national effort dedicated to the life-long concerns of brothers and sisters of people who have special health, developmental, or mental health concerns.

Many thanks to the Speedway Children’s Charities and The Jonathan Foundation for funding Sibshops!
